EVOSURF, a PFAS-Free Hydrophobic and Oleophobic Nanocoating
![]()
EVOSURF is a range of PFAS-free coatings that provide treated surfaces with hydrophobic and oleophobic properties. It is designed to form an ultrathin, durable, and functional surface barrier while preserving optical transparency and electrical conductivity.
The very low surface energy of EVOSURF coatings (22 mN/m) enables them to:
- Minimize water and oil adhesion.
- Reduce the adhesion of contaminants and dirt.
- Improve the release of molded parts.
- Provide a protective barrier against corrosion and tarnishing.
EVOSURF is an effective replacement for conventional PFAS-based coatings, delivering best-in-class performance in critical properties while offering an alternative to products such as Fluoropel, Optool, Fluorolink, CYTOP, and Teflon™ AF.
The EVOSURF range provides a straightforward alternative to industrial PFAS coatings, allowing easy integration into existing manufacturing processes. It is designed to deliver high performance, long-term durability, and regulatory compliance.
Why Choose EVOSURF?
- Direct replacement for PFAS-based coatings
- Compatible with industrial manufacturing standards
- Maintains critical performance properties
- Reduces regulatory risk

Application method
![]()
EVOSURF can be applied either by spray coating or dip coating, without the need for complex or heavy equipment.
In its fast-evaporating formulation (EVOSURF 7), treated parts dry quickly, achieving hydrophobic and oleophobic performance within just a few minutes.
The non-flammable formulation (EVOSURF 65) enables safe transportation and storage without special handling constraints.
After application, rinsing or wiping produces a uniform coating. An optional heat-curing step can then be used to dry the parts and further improve the durability and adhesion of the EVOSURF coating.
