SURFACTIS Technologies develops semi-permanent release agents that interact durably with the surface of moulds.
By bonding to the tooling, our coatings create a stable non-stick layer that facilitates demoulding cycle after cycle, with a much lower application frequency than a conventional release agent.
Our semi-permanent release agents enable you to :
Our products come in the form of a liquid solution that is easy to apply:
They bond to the mould in seconds, permanently reducing its surface energy and significantly reducing the adhesion forces between the part and the mould.
The result : easier, faster and more repeatable demoulding.
As semi-permanent agents, they :
They are operational up to 150°C, preferably on metal or ceramic surfaces, for numerous applications in plastics, composites and polyurethanes.
Strong interaction with the mould provides:
Compared to silicone oils, waxes and agents that require frequent reapplication, our solutions are genuine semi-permanent release agents :
More durable on the mould : fewer re-applications, fewer line stoppages, less operator variability.
Less transfer onto the part : better compatibility with finishing operations (painting, gluing, controlled adhesion).
Cleaner and more stable process : uniform film, less overconsumption, reproducible demoulding from one mould to another.
Protection of tools : less aggressive cleaning, fewer scratches, extended mould life.
Regulatory compliance : reduction in consumption, emissions and waste for better control of HSE issues.

Our semi-permanent release agents are particularly suitable for :
Plastics – thermoplastics (< 150°C) Injection, blow moulding/injection blow moulding, thermoforming for technical or aesthetic parts (automotive, electronics, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, etc.).
Composites – polyester/epoxy Lamination and open moulding (boating, bodywork, design), RTM light, infusion and small technical parts (glass/epoxy, carbon/epoxy, etc.).
Low-temperature moulded polyurethanes Foams or compacts (soles, design parts, comfort elements). Our treatments offer a controlled demoulding environment, subject to compatibility tests with your formulations.

The best way to evaluate our semi-permanent release agents is to test them on your own moulds.
